By default at xa99, Decimal odds format is used — it's the most straightforward format. The calculation is simple: Bet Amount × Odds = Total Return.
For example: odds of 1.85 means if you bet ৳1,000 and win, you get back ৳1,850 — a profit of ৳850. Your original ৳1,000 stake is already included in that ৳1,850.
The higher the odds, the less likely the outcome — but the bigger the payout if you win. Odds of 1.15 indicate a heavy favourite — lower profit but a higher chance of winning. Odds of 4.50 indicate an underdog — higher risk, but a much bigger reward if it comes in.
On xa99, you can switch the odds format to fractional or American — just go to "Odds Format" under your account settings.
